ABOUT LUKASZ
Lukasz Moskal was born on 9 February 1982 in Stalowa Wola, a small workers' town in southern Poland.
From an early age music was close to his heart and he started to play the violin at the local music school. Given his talent and love of music, he also taught himself to play other instruments such as the piano, guitar, bass and of course, drums. Quite quickly he knew that drums would be the instrument he would focus on.

As a youngster he played after school in the music club 'Pod Papugami' with local artists and bands, honing his skills on the instrument at various special events organised by the city. Given that there were no opportunities for development in the small town and his desire was to learn more and pursue a musical career, it was a natural next step to leave his hometown. At the age of just 15, he left his hometown and moved to the Polish capital, Warsaw.
Immediately after arriving in Warsaw, at just 15 years old he began working intensively, collaborating with top artists on the Polish music scene. He started performing all over Poland and in the years following; in Europe, the United States, China, Japan, India and Morocco. Over the course of 25 years of professional work, he has performed on huge tours, festivals, recorded many successful albums and appeared on numerous TV and radio programmes.

Lukasz is a self-taught drummer, he never took any lessons in playing drums and got to where he is today through listening to music. Lukasz's hallmarks as a musician and drummer are musicianship and creativity, grounding in groove, easy movement in songs and knowledge of song construction. The production, composition and arranging work acquired over 25 years of working in the music industry on stages and in recording studios is an asset and knowledge that Lukasz draws on in his work as a musician. He is also a producer and composer comfortable with alternative, rock, pop or electronic music styles.

Although he has lived in Warsaw throughout his career, as of March 2024, he settled in Brighton with his British wife starting a new phase in his life with his family. Believing in visions of further musical and professional adventures and wonderful new collaborations in the UK market.

Lukasz is an endorser of Turkish handmade Impression Cymbals.
